Thurston High School Black Student Union:
THS BSU was created to promote a campus-wide culture of diversity, inclusion, and unity through activities that educate students and staff about black history and culture; and to support and nurture the cultural, social and educational experiences and needs of students of the African diaspora. It is our mission to educate, inspire, support and empower our students with a variety of programming, professional and leadership development seminars, workshops, and social justice discussions. BSU is dedicated to producing an intentional, empowered and engaged community that centers around the intersectional black student experience.
